The player takes the role of Alexander Morris, a young Texas businessman who comes to London in the winter of 1899 to investigate the strange circumstances surrounding his brother Quincey’s death 10 years earlier. Along the way, he meets Annisette Bowen and becomes engaged to her.

Because of his close relationship with Quincey, Lord Arthur Holmwood proposes Alexander’s induction into the mysterious and exclusive Hades Club. Alexander then learns that Quincey had been part of a group that destroyed Count Dracula.

As Alexander Morris, the player must travel to specific locations in London at certain times with certain items gathered during his travels in order to collect clues and achieve victory over Dracula.
