The story centers on the painting La Maledicció. George Stobbart and Nicole Collard witness a masked man steal it and kill the gallery owner.
George is working for the painting’s insurer, while Nico is investigating as a reporter. With the police proving incompetent, they begin to unravel the crime.
Their investigation leads them into a conspiracy that is somehow connected to the Gnostic Gospels.
