Robert Foster was stranded as a child in a place called The Gap, where he was adopted by the local Aboriginal people living there.
After several years, The Gap is attacked by security officers, who kill the locals and take Robert back to Union City.
He manages to escape and gradually learns more about the corruption that runs society.
