The Walking Dead: Michonne, Episode One: In Too Deep Review – March 3, 2016

Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment have announced that Give No Shelter, the second of three episodes in The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries, is now available for download on Windows and Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services; the PlayStation®Network for PS4 and PS3, and the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One® and Xbox 360®. The episode is also available for compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and for Android-based devices via Google Play and the Amazon App Store. The miniseries will conclude with the third episode, What We Deserve, in April.

Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games: At this midpoint in our exploration of an iconic character, players will get a substantial look at what past trauma hides behind Michonne’s often inscrutable exterior. Living a part of Michonne’s life through Telltale gameplay provides real insight into one of the most complex psyches in Robert Kirkman’s Walking Dead universe. With this as the backdrop to a tense pursuit that hurtles to a cliffhanger ending, we hope this episode leaves players excited for the conclusion coming next month.

Give No Shelter features a daring escape from the floating colony of Monroe that has Michonne, Pete, and Sam running for their lives. But the leaders of Monroe don’t forgive or forget. With memories of her daughters bleeding ever further into Michonne’s blurred reality, her world is becoming increasingly fractured at the very point she needs all of her skills to survive.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
