Andromeda Wild Looks to Tame Kickstarter
Indie developer Apeirogon Entertainment requests your backing to make its extrasolar single-player survival game — which has already been Greenlit — a reality

Andromeda Wild takes place a scant 50 years in the future. After your ship suffers a hull breach in the middle of the Andromeda Galaxy, you and your dog, Asher, board an escape pod and end up on a harsh, alien world. As it turns out, you’re the only survivors.
The game is truly about survival. You must learn to live off the land, make weapons, hunt and gather food and build shelter. This world has no sentient life forms. It does have wild animals, however. And most of them are as likely to try to eat you as you are them.
There is no infrastructure here. It’s just you, Asher, the planet and its critters.
There will be a constant day/night cycle in which night will be really and truly dark. There will be no fast-forwarding of time; it will be up to you to get through the darkness for as long as it lasts.
Andromeda Wild is a single-player game but will also offer asymmetrical two-player co-op in which a second player controls Asher. Additionally, the game will have a context-sensitive voiceover during which you’ll hear your character speak, offering observations about the world around you and commenting on things you see and do.
The game is being built with Unreal Engine 4. The only full-time developer to work on the game thus far is Peter Ryan, CEO of Apeirogon Games. Or…wait. Maybe not. Here…watch this video and draw your own conclusion.
Anyway, Apeirogon is looking to raise at least $35,000 CAD on Kickstarter by December 13th. With your support, Andromeda Wild will venture forth on PC/Windows in August 2016. It will utilize a new Early Access payment structure with iterative releases (see Greenlight page). Your backing would be greatly appreciated.
