NoseBound, a five-episode game from indie studio Quarantine Interactive, is an old-school point-and-click adventure for PC. The player becomes Ray Hammond, an old private eye who goes head-to-head against a twisted organization. The game is being released in five episodes.
You’ll explore gruesome murder scenes, face tense shootouts and experience narrow escapes in a noir ambiance never before seen in a game.
NoseBound‘s gameplay is based on classic point-and-click mechanics; you’ll get to investigate several interactive areas with a tri-action menu using options such as “talk to,” “take / interact with” and “look or investigate.” Perspective alternates between first- and third-person depending on what Ray Hammond is doing. The end of each episode features gunplay. Episodes 1 and 2 will share the same case and story; Episodes 3, 4 and 5 will present new and different cases. The plan is to release Episode 1 for PC early in 2016.
NoseBound has been Greenlit, and a Kickstarter campaign with a base goal of CAD$18,500 (US$14,000) has been launched. It will run until October 15, 2015. If certain stretch goals are met, support for Mac, Linux, iOS and Android will be added. Your backing would be appreciated.
