Evoland 2: A Slight Case of Spacetime Continuum Disorder, is a genre-spanning standalone follow-up to the 2013 indie hit Evoland.

A unique RPG adventure on a grand scale, Evoland 2 takes players on a truly epic journey through time and across a variety of classic and contemporary video game styles. Filled with homages, a wide variety of gameplay genres and an innovative graphical style that evolves throughout the game, Evoland 2 is bursting with charm and character. Players can expect beat-’em-up battles, puzzles, platforming and much more.

Nicolas Cannasse, creator of the original first Evoland game and CTO of Shiro Games: We’ve taken every measure to craft a memorable and fully-featured game with Evoland 2. I’m overjoyed to say that we’ve not only fulfilled our original vision, but expanded on it considerably. Shiro Games has come very far since myself and two others created the original Evoland — we’re a tight-knit team of nine now — and we’re confident that both existing Evoland fans and newcomers alike will be charmed by the labour of love that is Evoland 2.

The game focuses on a hero who must protect the strange world in which he lives by learning to understand events in different timelines and attempt to alter a grim future for the better. His adventures are filled with mystery and complexities set by traveling in time. Along the way, he will encounter dozens of unique characters with their own backgrounds and signature gameplay styles that are linked to the story and triggered by the player’s actions. A strange secret buried within the core of this world affects the course of time itself and the powerful forces at play. Can our hero change the world’s destiny, or is it already set in stone?

Evoland 2 is now available for purchase Steam, GoG and the Humble Bundle store.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
