As Microïds gears up for Gamescom 2015, a few more details have been revealed concerning the eagerly-awaited Syberia 3.
As the game begins, Kate Walker is adrift on a makeshift craft, and things aren’t looking too good.
By chance, she’s found and rescued by a Youkol caravan. Kate then joins the Youkols in an ancestral tradition: accompanying snow ostriches in their transhumance to the sacred steppes, where they will breed.
This journey will be both charming and dangerous, as the caravan is pursued by many enemies…
Once again, the proceedings will be guided by the masterful hand of Benoît Sokal. The game is being developed for Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac in full 3D. This will afford players more freedom than ever to explore the wonders, mysteries and puzzles of Syberia 3.
Also at GamesCom, the first tracks from Syberia 3 by Composer Inon Zur (Fallout 3 & 4, Dragon Age) will be played during the Video Games Live concerts on August 7, 8 and 9.
The current plan is to release Syberia 3 in 2016. No firm release date has been announced.
