The Solus Project is Announced
A single-player survival game from GRIP Games and Teotl Studios
The Solus Project, in which the player represents mankind’s last hope, is being jointly developed and published by GRIP Digital s.r.o. and Teotl Studios.
Earth is on the brink of destruction, and you are stranded on a dangerous alien planet. You must find a way to send a signal home while confronting the secrets of an alien civilization and coping with the planet’s hazardous environment.
Jakub Mikyska, CEO of GRIP Digital: “The Solus Project is a work of love for us. Two independent teams set out to build their dream game, with the goal of building a truly unique experience and with an ambition to match the visuals of AAA games. After more than two years of development, we are now ready to show The Solus Project publicly for the first time. We hope that the players will enjoy our atmospheric world full of mystery.”
The Solus Project is the brainchild of industry legend Sjoerd ‘Hourences’ De Jong, and is the successor to the 2010 PC Gamer USA Action/Adventure Game Of The Year The Ball. It’s being developed with Unreal Engine 4 and will incorporate unique social features.
The game will be released in early 2016 for PC and as a console exclusive to Xbox One, via the ID at Xbox self-publishing program.
