Meet the Voices of The Charnel House Trilogy (and One Interloper)
The point-and-click adventure series boasts an impressive cast
Upcoming Release: Point-and-Click Your Way to Horror Aboard a Train in The Charnel House Trilogy – February 21, 2015
Starting next month, unravel The Charnel House Trilogy from indie developer Owl Cave and indie publisher Mastertronic. The game consists of the critically-acclaimed horror short Sepulchre framed by two brand new interactive narrative layers: Inhale (a prequel) and Exhale (a sequel). The game’s main cast is now revealed.
You’ll be hearing New York Times bestselling author Madeleine Roux, iconic media personality Jim Sterling, celebrated actor Ashly Burch and Blackwell alumni Abe Goldfarb as well as many other high profile voice talents. Without further ado, let’s meet them:
Madeleine Roux: “As a huge fan of Owl Cave’s previous work, it’s been an absolute pleasure and privilege to be involved with the trilogy. When I saw the script there was no hesitation in accepting the role – the story has one of the best and most shocking twists I’ve seen in a long, long time. I think players will really connect with the creepy, slow-burn atmosphere and top-notch characterization.”
Jim Sterling: “The Charnel House Trilogy‘s script made me feel deeply unpleasant and caused my skin to crawl. I shuddered recording the lines I had to record, as it made me feel uncomfortable. That’s why I’m so thrilled to be working on the project. Ashton Raze has delivered a delightful twisted story and having a part to play in it was a perverse pleasure.”
The Charnel House Trilogy will launch on April 16th for PC.
Okay, now…Dave Gilbert of Wadjet Eye has nothing to do with The Charnel House Trilogy. He isn’t in it, he didn’t work on it, and he’s never even played Sepulchre. Yet here he is, hijacking and reading lines for various characters in the game…
