During December’s PlayStation Experience event in Las Vegas, Tim Schafer, the head of Double Fine, provided an update on Grim Fandango Remastered including a new teaser trailer. With the game will launching on January 27th, a new pre-order Trailer has been released. Grim Fandango Remastered is available now for pre-order at GOG.com at $14.99. 

 

The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, PC, Mac, and Linux, and pre-orders are now being taken at GOG.

The resurrection of Grim Fandango was first revealed during this year’s E3 which included a Video Clip and Tim Schafer’s Retrospective. It was first thought that the re-make would be a PS4 and PS Vita exclusive, but the inclusion of a PC version was quickly announced following an outcry from concerned fans.

Grim Fandango Remastered includes:

  • Repainted, hi-res character textures
  • New, dynamic lighting
  • Classic score re-recorded with a full live orchestra
  • Over 2 hours of exclusive developer commentary
  • Concept art browser
