Soul Axiom Early Access Game Footage, Screens, Info – September 10, 2014
From indie developer Wales Interactive:
Why Early Access?
We want to make Soul Axiom the best it can be and being able to have feedback from the community whilst we are developing the title will be invaluable to us. By charging for Early Access, we’re hoping to ensure we get feedback from people who are passionate about shaping the game’s destiny, invested in its future, and excited to get access to the game before it’s released. This really is a chance to influence the end product and play a part in the game design process.
How long will this game be in Early Access?
We anticipate the game will be in Early Access for 4-6 months. Over this time we will be periodically adding new content and chapters for players to experience.
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
The full version of the game with include all six chapters with around 12hrs of game-play. Each Chapter will included 2-4 hours of exploration, investigation and puzzle solving game-play.
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
The Early Access version of the game will feature the first Chapter of the adventure. This first instalment of the story will include 5 locations for you to explore. These levels will be fully playable and will introduce you to the new game mechanics, characters and story. It won’t be totally bug-free and if you’re experiencing an issue or have suggestions for improvements then your feedback will help us fix it.
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
Soul Axiom will be included in sales where appropriate during Early Access but it is currently undecided whether the price will go up come full release.
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
We’re hoping to get as much feedback as possible from the community to find out what ideas work and what don’t. We’d also like suggestions for improving game content as well as helping us with bug/crash reports. We’ll be reaching out to the community throughout the entire process via the steam community page, our twitter and Facebook page.
Early Access will begin November 3, 2014. Full release will be in Spring 2015 for PC, Mac, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U.
