The Long Dark is Launched on Early Access

Sandbox Mode is available now for PC and Mac; a new trailer is released

Developer Hinterland Studio has released its first-person post-disaster survival simulation The Long Dark in Sandbox Mode on Steam Early Access. Both PC and Mac versions are available.

The trailer below, called A Good Day to Die, represents six minutes of in-game footage from the Sandbox Alpha.    

The Long Dark is focused on exploration and takes place in the Northern wilderness in the aftermath of a global disaster. How far will you go to survive?
