TinyKeep is an action RPG with a simple premise that focuses on exploration and combat. At its heart is a sophisticated AI system, designed to produce unique monster intelligence that behaves in exciting and unpredictable ways.

You’re a prisoner; a seasoned fighter jailed many years ago and left to perish in the deepest, darkest cells of the Keep. One fateful day, you wake up and find yourself mysteriously free of your shackles, the door in front of you unlocked. Time to escape!

Features of TinyKeep include procedurally generated random dungeons, challenging Permadeath gameplay, a variety of beautiful but deadly environments and three separate endings, depending on how you play.

Phi Dinh, founder of Phigames: We wanted to create a game that feels alive, where the dungeon’s inhabitants have their own motivations and needs. For example, in one playthrough I decided to release a fellow prisoner from a makeshift wooden cell, but instead of being eternally grateful, he attempted to attack me in his crazed delirium. The noise attracted some nearby prison guards, who came rushing into the room, accidentally setting off a number of deadly spike traps. The next few minutes were absolute mayhem and chaos.

Look for TinyKeep September 29th as a digital download for PC.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
