It’s 1789. The French Revolution has turned Paris, a once-magnificent city, into a place of terror and chaos. As the nation tears itself apart, a young man named Arno will embark on an extraordinary journey to expose the true powers behind the Revolution.

Arno’s pursuit will throw him into the middle of a ruthless struggle for the fate of a nation, and transform him into a true Master Assassin.

In addition to an epic single-player campaign, join with up to three friends online and experience the open world of 18th-century Paris. Pull ambitious heists and take part in unique narrative-driven missions designed exclusively for co-op play. Sabotage an execution. Protect an emperor. Assassinate a Templar agent.

Victory won’t be easy, however. You and your lethal band must rely on communication, coordination and diverse skills to accomplish your missions, then vanish into the shadows.

Enjoy an unprecedented degree of freedom and control over your Assassin. Experience full motion control with new parkour mechanics for free running up, across, and down city walls and buildings.

A reinvented fighting system will provide a richer combat experience based on skill, timing, and flow. Stealth gameplay will be enhanced and include a new stealth mode, cover system, and crowd-manipulation techniques.

Get ready to stay hidden, stalk your prey, and strike without warning. Assassin’s Creed: Unity will be released by Ubisoft on October 28, 2014 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
