To celebrate Loading Human‘s achievement of its initial $30,000 funding target, indie developer Untold Games has released a new gameplay video showcasing the “purple VR World” that players will experience during key parts of the story. New screenshots have been released as well.

Flavio Parenti, CEO of Untold Games: “Loading Human’s development is assured now that we have surpassed our initial Kickstarter funding target, but we are still a long way from home. New challenges await us as we seek to improve the game in every aspect and deliver an even more revolutionary experience by reaching funding stretch goals like multi-language voice acting, multiple puzzle solutions and performance motion-capture.”

Loading Human is currently in development for PC and Mac. Additionally, the game’s concept has been approved for PlayStation4’s Project Morpheus virtual reality system. Also supported are the Oculus Rift VR headset and motion-based controllers such as the Sixense STEM, Razer Hydra, YEI Technology PrioVR and Virtuix Omni. The game will also be playable on a standard monitor.

Loading Human will be released in three chapters. Chapter One is due for release during Q1 2015.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal.
