Welcome to the top of the world, where nature challenges life in the extreme and death lies waiting in the cold. Here, you must explore the fantastical world of Iñupiaq stories to help a young girl named Nuna and her animal companion Fox save her people from an endless blizzard.

Upper One Games has paired world class game developers with Alaska Native storytellers and elders to create Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna), a game based on stories that have been handed down for thousands of years. The game delves deeply into the traditional lore of the Iñupiat people to present an experience like no other.

  • 1- and 2-player modes, both involving cooperative play (in single-player mode, the player can switch between the roles of Nuna and Fox at any time)

  • Game story, settings, characters and gameplay inspired by traditional Iñupiaq folklore, including the story of Kunuuksaayuka (Koo-nook-sah-yoo-ka), handed down for generations among the Iñupiaq people

I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much.
