Wales Interactive announced today that their horror adventure game Master Reboot is set to release on October 29, 2013. The release will be on the PC platform, with future releases on the PS3, PS Vita, and Wii U.

 

In Master Reboot, death is no longer a final event. Memories are saved to enjoy forever, and your own soul is immortal in the Soul Cloud. The deceased have their souls uploaded to the Soul Cloud servers to relive memories along with their family members. Each soul has their own island to house their memories in houses, rooms, skyscapers, and more.

 

The beginning of the game has the player coming to in the Soul Cloud, their identity unknown. The island you are on where you expect your memories to show is shockingly empty, as if it has been wiped. What happened? Did someone do it on purpose? This is where the player must find out what is going on, and must avoid the Soul Cloud’s anti-virus, believing you are the cause of the problems in the network.
