Beyond eyes is a lovely-looking game that tells the story of Rae, who has been blind since she was a toddler. Rae rarely leaves home and prefers to spend time in her beautiful garden with a big stray tomcat named Nani.

One day, Nani goes missing. Becoming apprehensive, Rae decides to venture into unknown territory to search for her feline friend.

It will be up to the player to guide Nani on her journey. The way in which the player accomplishes this will influence Rae’s feelings and behavior.

Beyond eyes started as a college project and is the creation of just one individual: Sherida Halatoe, aka tiger & squid studio. 

After earning her BA in Game Design from Utrecht School of Arts in 2011, Sherida opened her own studio and has continued to work on the game. She hopes to release it in July 2014.

Until recently, Sherida worked an outside job as well as working on Beyond eyes. When this became too much, she quit her job and has since devoted herself exclusively to creating the game.

As frequently occurs with indie developers, Sherida is running out of money. She needs your support in order to finish the game. To that end, she has launched an IndieGoGo campaign for Beyond eyes. It will run through October 30, 2013.
