Always Sometimes Monsters
A unique indie RPG that deals with complex issues and asks serious questions
Devolver Digital, purveyors of fine digital entertainment from independent artists worldwide, has teamed with indie developer Vagabond Dog to make an unconventional RPG about life, love and the lengths to which we will go to find happiness
Take on the role of a hapless character who’s out of luck and out of money; who’s beloved is marrying someone else, and who is on the verge of a breakdown.
Journey through the modern human experience as you overcome the heartbreak and hardships of lost love.
Venture into a world of decisions, problems, relationships, prejudice, honesty, dishonesty and more. A world in which your choices affect not only you, but those around you.
According to Justin Amirkhani from developer Vagabond Dog, “Developing Always Sometimes Monsters has been a continual process of evaluating not only our game mechanics, but also an evolution of how we regard ethics and morality. Concepts of right and wrong can easily whittle away within the game, so we are very much looking forward to seeing what choices players make during their unique journeys.”
A PC version of the game will be available in Spring 2014.
