The Future of Just Adventure
By Craig White
Just Adventure started out as a start-up online magazine run by me and
a few of my friends who were interested in adventure games. We had a few
interviews and reviews, as well as some articles that may have been of
interest to a few Sierra fans, like us. Since then, we’ve had a few new
additions to our staff, more talented and creative writers, and have tripled
our audience in the past month.
That said, what can you expect from Just Adventure in the future? For
one, more great quality writing, as always. We will continue writing articles,
reviews, and conducting interviews, and Andy will continue his weekly
column. On top of all that, we have a few special features that may interest
you.
As most of you know, the annual E3 show is coming up, and we will have
exclusive coverage of all adventure aspects covered during the show. Starting
May 27th and continuing through to May 30th, we will be giving you daily
updates from the show thanks to our E3 representative, Randy Sluganski.
He will be interviewing industry designers and previewing new games debuting
at the show. This is one hot event you won’t want to miss!
Other new features of interest we are working on is a huge walkthrough
center that will link to multiple walkthroughs for nearly every game all
across the Internet. If one doesn’t have what you want, you can try the
others! If you have a walkthrough that you would like mentioned in this
list, please e-mail us, we appreciate it so much.
Another great new feature we are working on is a complete list of all
adventure games available. This would include games from five or six years
ago right up to recent releases. As long as the game is available in retail
stores or through the Internet, it should be included on this huge list.
Included with this list will be links to reviews, previews, web sites
and all things associated to these games. We will also try to give our
own thoughts on the games themselves, sort of like a “quick take.”
Of course, we love your suggestions. Without them, we won’t know what
you want and therefore can’t improve. Please send all comments to me,
and we hope you enjoy our web site. On a last note, stop by our new Message
Board to see what’s on the burner. Take care, everybody!
