& AFTERSHOCKED!:
DOWNLOAD 2 NEW FAN CREATED ADVENTURE GAMES

Harvest
is expected to be released by late 2002. In the meantime, you can
enjoy this 10MB
demo provided with the permission of its promising young developer,
Michael B. Clark.
You are walking your dog
in the park one summer evening when he pulls free and runs into the
bushes and vanishes into thin air. You go after him and suddenly find
yourself in a strange underground complex. A diabolical man has invented
a machine to poison the world, and you quickly realize that finding
your dog is not your only challenge.
You must explore many areas,
solve puzzles, and collect clues, in order to not only find your dog,
but also to discover the real story behind this diabolical plan, and
figure out exactly how to stop it. But don’t get caught, because danger
lurks in every corner. Are you up to the challenge?
AfterShocked!
by multi-talented Matt Dabrowski,
is deceiving as its cartoony look would lead you to believe it was
for children, but it actually contains much adult material. The download
is about 46MB, but is well worth the effort as it is the entire game
and not just a demo. AfterShocked! is often hilarious and proves
that adventure games are more about good writing and not about graphics.
AfterShocked! is
a full-featured post-nuclear comedy adventure game in the vein of
the classic LucasArts and Sierra adventure titles. Nearly every known
city and town has been destroyed by nuclear missiles, leaving behind
a strange world full of of drug dealers, mutant talking fish, and
disgusting, yet friendly, ‘zombies’, whose skin has been blown off.
You play as a teenager trying to save what’s left of the world from
certain destruction at the hands of a madman, while simultaneously
keeping under control the conflict between zombies and norms. Features
hand-drawn 16-bit color graphics, an original musical score, dozens
of hilarious characters to interact with, plenty of scenes to visit,
and lots of puzzles to solve. The download size might seem a bit large,
but keep in mind that this is a complete game (not a demo) packed
with hours of gameplay.
