Adventure Games at the E3!

Here’s the list that everyone has been waiting for! I have just provided basic recognition that a game is being produced. Release dates, previews, screen shots, etc. will be provided later. Notably missing from the E3 were Big Brother by Media X, Discworld Noir [and The Longest Journey by Funcom].–My apologies to Funcom! They were at the E3 showing The Longest Journey, but the massive congestion led to my overlooking their booth.

Acclaim

Shadow Man–This awesome-looking game is scheduled to be released multi-platform July of this year.

Star Trek: Insurrection–Based on the Next Generation movie.

Clock Tower 2–For the PSX. Spooky adventure game.
Echo Night–For the PSX. Horror adventure must-have!

Capcom

Action/Adventure
Resident Evil 3–Sequel to best-selling series.
Dino Crisis–For the PSX. What Trespasser should have been.
Resident Evil Veronica–For the Dreamcast. Spin-off from the RE series.

Cryo

(There is a possibility that all of Cryo’s products could be distributed in North America by Mindscape.)

Faust–Scheduled for fall release.
Devil Inside–Interesting game based on American television shows.
Atlantis 2–Continuation of the original Atlantis.
Aztec–In the same tradition as China and Egypt.
The Time Machine–based on the H.G. Wells classic novel.

Traitor’s Gate–similar in style to Thief, but there are many more puzzles to solve.

Tender Loving Care–Starring two-time Oscar nominee John Hurt.
