DREAMCATCHER CONFIRMS RUMORS CONCERNING RELEASES OF RIDDLE OF THE SPHINX 2, CRYSTAL KEY 2 AND AN “UNNAMED MYSTERY ADVENTURE GAME!”
Great news from Dreamcatcher‘s new division: The Adventure Company.
Just Adventure has had confirmation from a reliable source at DreamCatcher, that they are in the process of completing the paperwork on the sequels for Riddle of the Sphinx and Crystal Key. The developers for both games have moved away from Quicktime and will be utilizing the user-friendly Phoenix VR engine. Bigger teams have been established to reduce the time spent in development, assuring state of the art graphics and game play. Release dates have not been finalized though both games are aiming for year-end 2002. We will soon have exclusive screenshots from Riddle of the Sphinx 2 and Crystal Key 2.
Our source has also confirmed that there is an unnamed mystery adventure game in the works set on the Egyptian shores of the Nile. This game is not a sequel of the popular Egypt series, though it may be a continuation of a popular adventure game. We will have more news on this mystery game in the months ahead.
This is great news to launch the inception of Dreamcatcher’s newly formed adventure division and can only bode well for the future of adventure gaming.
