The four pieces of tape
Look left and note the parts of drawings on the box wall: you have to find the missing pieces.
Look right and take TAPE 1 from behind the stem of the wine glass.
Look right and take TAPE 2 from behind the dominoes.
Look right and zoom in on the matchboxes. Take TAPE 3 from the lower box.
Zoom out and look right. Zoom in on the fruit in the left corner and take TAPE 4 from behind it.
Zoom out and zoom in on the parts of the drawings on the wall. Arrange the pieces of tape you have collected in the correct order.
Note the height of the spikes on the drawing of the fruit at the top. Zoom out and turn to the fruit itself, then extend its spikes to the heights the drawing gives.
Click the fruit, look inside as it opens, and go down the spiral staircase. You are back in the box, but something has changed.
- Achievement 4/8.
The comb melody
Look right and zoom in on the drawings, noting the arrangement of the notes of a melody. Zoom out, look left and zoom in on the comb.
For the achievement, play this melody:
C, C, D, D♯, G, E, D, D♯, C, A♯, G♯, G♯, G♯, G♯
- Achievement 8/8.
That melody can be learned in the Collection’s Theatre, when you serve Robert a gin and tonic, whose recipe is in grandfather’s pocket in the Collection’s Birthday.
Then play the melody that actually opens the lock:
B, B, D, D, B, B, G♯, A, B, D, B, A, G♯, A
Take the SILVER KEY and zoom out from the comb.
The casket, and the box wall
Zoom in on the lock of the casket and open it with the silver key. Take the KNIFE, the CIGAR and a SHEET OF PAPER from inside.
Open the upper matchbox and take a MATCH. Strike it on the box to get a LIT MATCH. Zoom out and look right.
Cut the marked spot in the box wall with the knife.
- Achievement 2/8.
Click the pigeon that appears and remember the notes it sings. Turn around and click the dominoes.
Lay the dominoes out on the darkened outline to get a SHEET OF PAPER.
- Achievement 3/8.
Look left and take the SPOON leaning against the wine glass.
The crow, the fish and the glass
Examine the sheet of paper you got from the dominoes, then put it back in your inventory.
Set the crow’s arms into the position the drawing shows. Set the fish’s legs into the position the drawing shows. Put the cigar in the fish’s mouth and light it with the lit match.
- Achievement 1/8.
Click the bottom of the wine glass to fill it with wine to a particular height. Strike the filled glass with the spoon and note which note sounds at which fill level. Then play the melody the pigeon sang.
Look right. Pull the rope down several times and look at the FEATHER that falls.
- Achievement 7/8.
Turn around, take the PIN, and turn around again. Attach the pin to the box wall and tie the rope to it.
Look up and you are seized by the dark entity.
- Achievement 5/8.
The flies and the fireflies
Return to your starting position. Open the jar of flies with the knife and click the jar.
Examine the sheet of paper from the casket and read the instruction, then put it back in your inventory. Arrange the flies and larvae according to the hint and take three FIREFLIES.
- Achievement 6/8.
Zoom out and look up. Quickly use the fireflies on the dark entity to get the BLACK CUBE.
The fourth game in the Collection is complete.
