A rebellious teenage girl moves with her parents to an old house in the middle of nowhere and expects a boring life in the countryside. Instead, a spark of light near a mouse hole leads her into a different place.

There she finds a strange and dangerous world where frogs sing operas, garden gnomes act as emissaries from another dimension, and telekinesis is treated as ordinary. She must use her wit and luck to find her way back to her parents.

The journey involves intricate puzzles, telekinesis, and a fight against an evil spider queen. The world is described as beautiful and slightly psychedelic, with inspiration from Alice in Wonderland, Dali, and other works.
