Tiger Eye Part I: Curse of the Riddle Box (2010)

While visiting China and browsing a local flea market, the psychic Dela Reese finds a mysterious riddle box at a nearby stall. After solving its lock puzzle, she opens it and meets Hari, a warrior who has been imprisoned for 2,000 years and cursed with immortality.

Together, they must stop an evil organization from gaining control of the box and find a way to escape China safely. The story is based on a romantic book by Marjorie M. Liu, who also wrote the game’s script.

This is a hidden object game with adventure elements. The player sees the world through the main protagonist’s eyes, searches cluttered scenes for items on a task list, and completes some actions to progress. Certain objects trigger mini-games, and hints can be bought with points earned from puzzles and bonus rounds.
