The Pink Panther’s Passport to Peril

1996, BMG Interactive Entertainment, Simon schuster, Wanderlust Interactive

The Pink Panther is sent by Inspector Clouseau to Camp ChillyWawa, a summer camp for gifted children, to protect it from a mysterious threat. There he meets a group of multiethnic youths, the Little Man as a camp counselor, and his old friend Von Schmarty, who shows him his inventions.

After Pink arrives, the children begin acting strangely and seem to hate the camp despite his efforts. He then travels around the world, followed by three dogs claiming to represent the Better Camping Bureau, to solve the mystery and restore order.

Using a PDA called the Pink Digital Assistant, Pink gathers information and completes tasks based on the children’s needs and whereabouts. He eventually learns that the Dogfather wants to ruin the camp so it will be closed and replaced by a fast food restaurant, and that the children have been replaced with robotic clones.

Pink confronts the Dogfather, Pugg, Louie, and a traitorous Little Man, and the villains are sucked into a powered suction pump while the children are freed. He later returns to Inspector Clouseau’s office and turns down his next mission, saying he will leave the spy business.
