Roger Wilco is still drifting in space after defeating Vohaul in SQ2 when his escape vessel is pulled in by an unknown planet’s gravity and crash-lands. The impact releases the sleep chamber he is in, and he wakes up inside the escape pod, now quite blonde.

After clearing his head, he steps out to find a heavily vegetated planet and begins exploring. He encounters many new forms of life, some of which are not pleased to see him.

Unbeknownst to Roger, aliens testing a weapon in nearby space caused the crash. After detecting his escape pod and the single life form aboard, they move to deal with the situation. Roger must try to stay alive long enough to escape the planet.
