The story continues the adventures of Guybrush Threepwood, LeChuck, and Elaine Marley after many years have passed. Guybrush is still searching for the Secret of Monkey Island, while Elaine has turned away from governing.
New pirate leaders led by Captain Madison have taken power, Melee Island has changed for the worse, and Stan has been imprisoned for “marketing-related crimes.”
Players banter with old friends and new faces on familiar islands under dangerous new leadership, then sail to the high seas and explore new and unknown places while solving clever puzzles and facing bizarre situations.
