Fable (1996)

Long ago, the Mecubarz ruled in peace and harmony over strange beings, magical creatures, and humans. Their rule ended after Ismael and four others plotted to overthrow them.

In response, the Mecubarz trapped the four seasons in crystals and cast them to the four corners of the shattered world, where they remained in eternal dominion of ice, mist, water, and fire. The four traitors were exiled, but Ismael disappeared.

As Quickthorpe, an inexperienced adventurer, you explore the Four Lands of the Mecubarz in search of the mystical gems that will liberate your people.
