Flo sees on television that the greedy landlord Mr. Big plans to demolish the four restaurants of her friends Darla, Tony, Margarita, and Toshiro to build a Mega Multiplex Food Plaza. The friends say he raised their rent on purpose to drive them out, and Flo arrives just as the bulldozer is about to destroy Darla’s Café.

Flo helps Darla through 10 shifts, upgrades the café, and mails the rent check to Mr. Big. He then sends the bulldozer toward Tony’s Pizzeria, where Flo helps Tony earn enough money to upgrade the restaurant and send the next rent check.

Mr. Big changes his plans for the Mega Multiplex several times, but Flo continues helping Margarita’s Cantina and Toshiro’s Grill. After the final rent check, Flo turns the Big Corp Lounge into Flo’s Lounge and makes Mr. Big her second waiter. Mr. Big says he will change his ways.
