Erik is drawn into intrigue when an anonymous client hires him for a seemingly simple task: gathering trivial information about the government agency where he works. At first, he is intrigued by the covert assignment and the extra income it provides.
As the requests become more complex and cross into illegality, Erik realizes he is in too deep to walk away. He turns to Carol for help.
Together, they try to end Erik’s involvement and uncover the client’s true agenda.
