Mike Davison continues to struggle after a nervous breakdown caused by his earlier encounters with The Ancients. Back in his hometown, he is drawn into a new nightmare when his high school sweetheart, Rita, is found murdered after the high school reunion.

Mike cannot remember the events of that night, even though he was seen with Rita, and he becomes the prime suspect. To clear his name, he must investigate the secrets of his neighbors and uncover what happened.

During his search, Mike stumbles back into the dark world he thought he would never see again. The Ancients have returned, seeking revenge and planning to unleash an evil entity into the normal world.
