Microïds has announced that Yesterday Origins’ release date has been postponed until November 10th.

Eliott Grassiano, VP, Microïds (as printed): We wish to offer to players all around the world the possibility to play this new masterpiece of Pendulo Studios simultaneously on all physical and digital platforms. Unfortunately, due to manufacturing processes taking longer than expected, we are not able to deliver all territories. That’s why we take the decision to postpone the launch of the game until November 10, 2016 in order to allow all players to play simultaneously.

In Yesterday Origins, you are both John Yesterday and Pauline Petit, owners of an antique shop in Paris. On the surface, their lives appear normal. However, they harbor a dark secret: they have become immortal.

Unfortunately, there was a problem with John’s immortality potion that causes him to lose his memories each time he returns to life. He and Pauline must now embark on a quest through time and around the world to find the missing memories.

The game boasts complex puzzles and riddles, and addresses adult topics with sprinkles of saucy dialog while retaining a relaxed feel and a good dose of black humor.

Yesterday Origins is now scheduled for release on November 10, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows and Mac. The game is rated PEGI 18/ESRB Mature.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
