| "Welcome to the land of potions, spells, dragons, damsels in distress and casual game trickery! "Fair lady Daphne has become enchanted by the Mystic Inn, where she is bound to serve drinks to wizards, mages and sorcerers, unable to leave. (I can certainly identify with the "unable to leave" aspect; I find myself in that situation with most casual games.) As Daphne makes her way through the game's 50 levels, she searches for a way to break the spell the Inn has cast on her. "Mystic Inn looks beautiful, sounds wonderful, and has great ambience. It also has some tricks up its sleeve. In order to beat it, I had to use some trickery of my own. "Players who are new to this type of casual game could find Mystic Inn a little daunting, but veterans will likely be up to the challenge. No matter what kind of player you are, just be prepared to be thrown some curves. All the better if you have some of your own to throw back! "I was able to enjoy Mystic Inn a lot more after I'd gained insight into some of its quirkiness and worked through some of its rough spots. Just stick with it, and you probably will, too!" |
