| "Meet Flo, whose horrific desk job inspires her to open a diner. This turns into a chain of five as you progress through ten increasingly difficult levels in each. They start out easy enough but as the pace quickens, duration increases and point options/types of customers multiply, strategic thinking becomes necessary. The most obvious actions aren't always the wisest, and more and more decisions must be made on the fly. The last few levels are particularly arduous; the final one is a literal marathon!" "Also offered is an 'Endless Shift' option in three difficulty levels; you carry on as long as possible before you run out of steam. I did encounter one issue: progress-tracking/level-saving is shown for both play modes, but is actually unavailable in Endless Shift, which must be concluded in one session. "Take heed: definite addiction potential; can become frustrating if played too long without a break. Completely absorbing; one of the finest, most challenging casual games I've ever played!" |
