We thought it would be fun to review some of the casual games we currently have available in our JA Casual Game Center. Needless to say, these games are very addictive and while our enthusiastic reviews are, for the most part short, the time spent playing these games is not. Once you have read the review, drop by the JA Casual Game Center and download a free trial version of the game for yourself, but remember - you have been warned!

I'll bet there isn't a casual gamer out there who hasn't enountered a game that started out fun and became a nightmare. Fortunately for all of us, Turbo Pizza isn't one of those. This thoroughly delightful game had me smiling from start to finish.

Gameplay follows a familiar formula: players serve food and drink to customers having varying degrees of patience, and things become more difficult in each successive level. Although the pace can get hectic, the gamenever leaves players in a lurch. Goals are challenging while remaining realistic and achievable.

Turbo Pizza has a wonderfully polished look. I found the characters original and appealing, and the music is quite catchy. In a market saturated with sometimes sadistic time-management games, Turbo Pizza is as refreshing as the sodas served up by pizza shop co-owner Rebecca.

My only complaints are minor. The game seems rather short, as its 50 levels go by quickly. And there are a couple of mini-games that don't add much to the proceedings.

Here's the good news: the game ends with "To Be Continued," which means a sequel is likely. To this reviewer, that's a very good thing indeed.

If you're in the market for a very enjoyable game that's low on stress, Turbo Pizza is for you. It serves up platters of fun without any side orders of shredded nerves!
