We thought it would be fun to review some of the casual games we currently have available in our JA Casual Game Center. Needless to say, these games are very addictive and while our enthusiastic reviews are, for the most part short, the time spent playing these games is not. Once you have read the review, drop by the JA Casual Game Center and download a free trial version of the game for yourself, but remember - you have been warned!

MCF Huntsville screenshot - click to enlargeDo…not…buy…this…game. Seriously, if you have any type of life at all, then do not buy MCF Huntsville. I can not even estimate how many hours, spread out into days, of my life that were taken over by MCF Huntsville. You will ignore your housework, your job, your children, your spouse, until you finish this game.

So what exactly is this game that devoured all of my valuable spare time and then leaked into my work time these past few weeks?

MCF Huntsville screenshot - click to enlargeYou have to solve crimes. But not in the usual, Gabriel Knight/Columbo sort of way. First you must choose a location to visit such as a firehouse, a barber shop, a diner and so on. All told, there are twenty locations to visit. Then you have to search the location for a specific list of items. That’s right, it’s the old find the hidden item in the picture game. But this time you have a time limit and literally hundreds and hundreds of items hidden in the picture and the pressure builds and builds as you find more items and the clock is quickly ticking down…..

MCF Huntsville screenshot - click to enlargeBut that’s not all, for once you visit and complete all of the locations on the map, you must then reassemble a picture that provides the identity of the culprit and you must do so in the time left over from your ‘find the hidden items in the picture’ game. Yikes!

You can download a trial version of the game here, but don’t do it. Not unless you have time to kill and by time I mean days for MCF Huntsville is casual gaming at its addictive best which is bad news for you.
