We thought it would
be fun to review some of the casual games we currently have available
in our JA Casual Game Center. Needless to say, these games are
very addictive and while our enthusiastic reviews are, for the
most part short, the time spent playing these games is not. Once
you have read the review, drop by the JA Casual Game Center and

- you have been warned!
I'm considered somewhat of a casual games expert here at JA. But lately, too many of them have looked alike to me. So I was absolutely thrilled when I stumbled across FGT. Apparently others are, too!
Unsolicited testimonial: "I was flabby-brained and crabby. I could barely think at all and hadn't laughed in years. Then someone gave me Fairy Godmother Tycoon, and I now run a successful business and even have a girlfriend!"
FGT is surprisingly elaborate and generously laced with dry humor. Basic gameplay consists of selling curse-busting potions in competition with other vendors in nine different villages. Some of the curses that afflict the villagers -- such as being naked, with discretely-placed black rectangles -- are hilarious!
Players receive detailed reports from which to develop marketing strategies; they also buy supplies and upgrades, set prices, and research potions. To succeed, you definitely need to bring your brain along!
Each village carries a specific goal. Gameplay continues until either the goal is met or the player crashes and burns -- which means repeating that particular village only. Players are never obliged to start the game over from the very beginning.
I had a deliciously wicked good time with this clever little gem. All gamers craving a mental workout accompanied by some serious laughs should buy this game, fire up their brains, and let the portion wars begin!
