We thought it would be fun to review some of the casual games we currently have available in our JA Casual Game Center. Needless to say, these games are very addictive and while our enthusiastic reviews are, for the most part short, the time spent playing these games is not. Once you have read the review, drop by the JA Casual Game Center and download a free trial version of the game for yourself, but remember - you have been warned!

Diner Dash 2 screenshot - click to enlargeDiner Dash 2 (DD2) is similar to the first Diner Dash (DD1), but with a few new twists. The premise: Mr. Big, landlord to four of Flo's restauranteur friends, has just tripled their rent. They can't afford this, so Flo volunteers to work at the restaurants in order to earn enough money to snazz the places up a bit and attract more customers. Players can choose from a variety of upgrade options.

Several customer types are carried over from DD1, and some are new. In DD2, for instance, patrons are disrupted by ceaselessly chattering cell phone addicts and families with squalling infants who spill things (just like in a real restaurant!).

Diner Dash 2 screenshot - click to enlargeAs in DD1, levels become increasingly difficult necessitating stategic planning. There is also an "Endless Shift" option. One needn't have played DD1 to enjoy DD2.

Overall, I found this game to be a tad easier than DD1 (but still far from easy). DD2 is a clever, ridiculously addicting game that's great fun!
