Scarlet Legacy and Asda 2 to Get Valentines Day Treatment
Special activities, sales, quests and more available for those in the lovey-dovey mood.
Online game publisher GamesCampus announced today that they would like to give their players an early Valentine's Day gift, with a few offers of events, special sales, quests, and more for their two MMORPGs Scarlet Legacy and Asda 2. Starting today and lasting until March 13, 2012, players can take part in the holiday of love.
For Scarlet Legacy, players will encounter quests, such as finding trouble in the Friendly Spring Village map, where they'll find possessed villagers. Freeing these poor people will grant players packages of premium items, which, when turned in, will grant them a Valentine's-themed costume piece and a rare event title. While visiting the Village, players can also help soldiers defeat their rivals for the love of their lives.
There will also be a second set of events for Scarlet Legacy, which is dedicated to the Year of the Dragon. Players will be able to gain access to a limited time map with increased item drops, bonus experience points, and find Gold Ingots that can be traded for titles, high-level skill books and rare equipment. All monsters in Scarlet Legacy will also have the chance to drop fireworks, which can be traded in for powerful recovery items and a unique costume set. Starting February 14 and running until March 13, players in Asda 2 will be able to gain and spend special event tokens to acquire special vanity items that are Valentine's themed. Players can also join with their "soul mates" for a chance at a special title and entry into a raffle. All players have to do is choose one of four NPCs to be their Valentine's each day they'll receive a variety of special items. Lovebirds can also join in the Gifting Event, where high-level players can give new players a unique costume, a pet and more in return for a special title. Players can also pick up a shovel and dig up the letters 'L', 'O', 'V', and 'E' to receive a booster set filled with items for their loyal pets.
