Black Pipe, a group of 18 students working together for the first time, released Blackwell, a survival horror game that is free to play. The result of a 6-week production at DADIU, the Danish Academy of Digital Interactive Entertainment, Blackwell aims to entice the survival instinct within the players as they guide a young woman under narcotic effects to escape a lunatic asylum.

This is not just your typical survival horror game, as the wardens who patrol the asylum will investigate anything suspicious left by the player, whether it be a noise or doors left open or even lights left on in rooms. Fighting against the drugs, players will encounted tunnel vision, blindness and dizzyness in their adventure. There is a caveat, as the drugs enhance the sounds to the player, which ripple like waves through walls and furniture, serving as a guide and as assistance to danger.

To play Blackwell, players can either play it at http://blackwell.dadiugames.dk/ or download the Windows build at this link: LINK
