Anuman Interactive to co-produce "Red Johnson Chronicles: One Against All"

The second chapter of the saga will span all consoles for which it was developed

PRESS RELEASE posted on 14 SEP 2012 12:00am by Karla

Montreuil (France). September 14th, 2012. In the wake of its global publishing partnership deal with Lexis Numérique for the PC version of the “Red Johnson Chronicles,” French publisher Anuman Interactive is now co-producing the second chapter of the saga across all the consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360) for which it was developed.

In mid-August, French software publisher Anuman Interactive announced it was signing a PC-only partnership and distribution deal for the adventure game "Red Johnson Chronicles."

Anuman Interactive now intends to go a step further by financially backing the development of the second set of chronicles “One Against All." The move makes Anuman Interactive the co-producer of the game’s PSN and XBLA versions.

Says Anuman Interactive’s CEO Stéphane Longeard: “The world of the ‘Red Johnson Chronicles’ really won us over. Critics and gamers alike reacted very favourably to the first ‘Chronicles’ all over the world. So, in accordance with our aim of becoming a major player in adventure video games, we decided to work with the Lexis Numérique studio in designing the second ‘Chronicles’ and financially backing the development and commercialisation of the game.”

Anuman Interactive’s VP Publishing Alain Milly adds: “Co-producing ‘Red Johnson Chronicles: One Against All’ for consoles is also our way of once again making our support for the French video games industry a concrete reality. France has enormous talent in the field and our mission as a publisher is to ensure games are finalised and marketed and to give them maximum visibility so that they reach their public in optimal fashion.”

For the record, the PSN version of "Red Johnson Chronicles: One Against All" will be published by Lexis Numérique while the XBLA edition will be distributed by Namco Bandai Games. Anuman Interactive will market the PC version of the game worldwide.

"Red Johnson Chronicles" for PC is scheduled for release in October 2012 and "Red Johnson Chronicles: One Against All" will be available from November 2012.
