Private Moon Studios Releases Board Games Series on App Store

Board game series makes jump from physical to digital world on Apple App Store.

Award-winning developer Private Moon Studios recently announced that their board game series have been brough to the Apple App Store. The board game series, known as Ancient Games of Nations, will be faithfully ported in the highest quality. The full games can be played against the computer or between friends. Two games have been already released: The Royal Game of Ur and Alquerque. For a limited time, The Royal Game of Ur will be available for free on the App Store for the iPad.

The Ancient Games of Nations series is prided for features that cater to both beginners and veterans, with intellectual enterainment and the right amount of brain-teasing. Players can learn the basic rules of rare ancient games as well as the interesting history that surrounds them.

“The iPad is the perfect platform for board games”, said Pierrot, CEO of Private Moon Studios. “We haven’t made any compromises. A high amount of detail has been paid to the audiovisual appearance and content, so we brought to life these classics with a set of features that will bring players to the world of ancient games closer than anything else before.”

The Ancient Games of Nations app is actually a digital box, in which there are twelve compartments for each game of the collection. Private Moon Studios will release the games that will fit into the compartments in future releases.

“We believe that these kinds of games can provide quality entertainment for modern day people, just like they used to for older generations”, said Krisztian Kasz, Director of Communications at Private Moon Studios.  “To prove our statement, we have made available for download the first game of the collection for free.”
