The full version of the game is scheduled to be released in the UK and Irish retail market on March 2, 2012.
In J.U.L.I.A, players are thrown into a narrative-driven adventure game in space, where it is the year 2430 and Rachel Manners, a 35 year old astrobiologist joins a group of scientists as they are sent off in a giant spaceship to explore the first-ever discovered extra-terrestrial lifeforms. After a long journey, Rachel suddenly awakens from cryogenic sleep, with no clue as to why she was put into hibernation in the first place. With a foggy memory, Rachel discovers that she is the only survivor of her team on the ship and that the ship's space probe is heavily damaged and orbiting an unknown planet.
Rachel must team up with J.U.L.I.A., the ship's AI and Mobot, a reconnaissance robot, to solve the mysteries of what happened on the ship, as well as repair it and explore the unknown planet. Players will have to guide Rachel, who will utilize both Mobot and J.U.L.I.A. during their adventure to six different planets.
