Albino Lullaby Playable PC Demo Released by Developer Ape Law - May 2, 2015

Kickstarter-funded Albino Lullaby is a first-person psychological horror adventure that's constructed with Unreal 4 and is VR-ready.

Justin Pappas, Creative Director of Albino Lullaby and Founder of Ape Law: "Jump scares and gore are a great way to get an instant and powerful reaction out of your players, but the real lasting power of horror is in the manipulation of the imagination. The great masters of suspense like Alfred Hitchcock and David Lynch show us that no nightmare is scarier than the one at play in your own mind."

A big amen to that.

Albino Lullaby presents a twisted narrative in an equally twisted world that contorts around you in an impressionist art style. You'll find yourself in a surreal nightmare, with hidden spaces haunted by The Grandchildren.

The game features player-driven pacing with no cutscenes, a macabre Victorian town that clings to the precipices of underground cliffs, a mechanical mansion that deconstructs around you and a substantial backstory conveyed through the gamespace. It will be released episodically; you can pay as you go, or purchase a season pass. The game has been built from ground up to play on the Oculus Rift, Vive and Morpheus.

Albino Lullaby will launch globally on September 15, 2015 for PC/Windows. Until then...sweet dreams.
