Why Have an Ordinary Disagreement When You Can Have a Neofeud?
This dystopic cyberpunk adventure from Hawaiian developer Silver Spook Games is both released and to be released

If you've ever had a yen to play a detective in a game environment that's a cross between Blade Runner and Game of Thrones, you've come to the right place.

Meet Karl Carbon, an ex-cop. That's you. The year is 2033.

The powers that be have created AI, but not exactly successfully. Factories have spit out millions of defective prototypes who are legally conscious, but incapable of being productive. They are known as "Defectives" or "Frankenpeople." They either end up in prison or are discarded into a landfill called The Pile.

You've been booted from the Coastlandia PD for disobeying an order to shoot an unarmed sentient humanoid. You're then forced to live in exile in The Pile, under the guise of being a social worker.

Meanwhile, those who are powerful and well-connected continue to seek perfection to the point of combining human and animal DNA. After discovering that something has gone horribly wrong, you're "drawn into a sordid conspiracy that could threaten the strained fabric of Human-Robot-Hybrid civilization -- or save it."

Neofeud has been inspired by such games as Fallout and System Shock, and films such as Aliens, The Matrix, Blade Runner, District 9, and Elysium. It offers 15+ hours of gameplay that alternates between point-and-click detective work and tense action shootouts. It's hoped that the game will challenge your core beliefs.

Neofeud is currently available for Windows and Linux here. The game will also be available for Windows and Linux September 19th on Steam. Versions for Mac and iOS are in development.
