Indie developer Thomas Dagon has changed the name of his upcoming horror game to The Eldritch Cases: Dagon. The game was formerly known as H.P. Lovecraft's Dagon. An image of the new title appears above.
Thpmas thinks the new name will more accurately reflect the game's ultimate content.
A third-person horror adventure, The Eldritch Cases: Dagon will be based on the Cthulhu universe of H.P. Lovecraft. As the sole survivor of an attack on the shore of the eerie island town of Innsmouth, players will find themselves in a hospital for the criminallly insane run by the evil Dr. West. They must escape, and explore Innsmouth to uncover the secret plans of the Esoteric Order of Dagon.
Players will be treated to many of the island's lovely locations, such as morgues, graveyards, and Innsmouth's infamous sewer system, and will interact with some colorful townsfolk as well.
The Eldritch Cases: Dagon will feature two playable characters and will be released for Windows, Mac and Linux, initially in German and English.
Thomas has also announced that some very major news will follow soon, so stay tuned...
