If you happen to be walking by Earls Court and catch a peek at the Eurogamer Expo, you might notice a rather knightly character holding up some traffic. While the publicity stunt didn't end with the knight rolling about avoid monsters, it did give viewers a detailed look at what they'll be see in the upcoming Dark Souls II.
Currently aiming for a March 14, 2014 release, Dark Souls II is the sequel to the addictive and wonderfully challenging (and incredibly unforgiving) original Dark Souls. As an open-world role-playing game, players take control of the cursed main character, who is on an adventure to find the cure for his agony.
From Software, developers of Dark Souls II, are also making the game more accessible to newer players, but only in the beginning of the game. After the initial areas, Dark Souls II will turn on its inherent charm of being a challenging game with no "Easy Mode".
Dark Souls II will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.
